Our speciality is in the design, manufacture and erection of traditionally jointed, mortice and tenon Oak frames.

The methods of jointing are of a purist nature, but by mixing in modern designs and materials, we can achieve a highly energy efficient, modern structure. We have designed and manufactured a large number of diverse Oak framed structures, the Houses, are a hybrid of Oak framing and SIPs construction, giving all the internal warmth, strength and feature only an Oak frame can provide, while providing an insulation, and air tightness far exceeding the latest building regulation standards.

Our Oak frames are manufactured full size in our workshops by our Oak framers, once correctly jointed and fitted they are dismantled, numbered and stacked ready for delivery to there destinations. On arrival on site there are erected onto ground works provided by ourselves or our customers, we then peg the pre-manufactured components together, forming a structural skeletal frame. The skeletal Oak frame is then covered with the structurally insulated panels (SIPs) which can be completed with a wide variety of external finishes.
