Structurally insulated panel
system, is a highly energy efficient construction material,
forming a highly durable and fast construction system
for housing and commercial developments.
The panel is made up of two sheets
of 15mm OSB sandwiching a foam insulating core with the
addition of timber posts and glulam lintels forms a strong,
durable, timber based framing system.
We have constructed numerous projects
using the Kingspan TEK Haus system, incorporating one
off houses through to a very large Government building
and the first four storey block using SIPS in the UK.
Swiss chalet construction
We have recently been spending time in Switzerland, constructing a large bespoke chalet using SIPS construction for the main structure, combined with oak framing and Douglas Fir joinery.
